The Class 121 is an Irish locomotive designed and built in the USA by General Motors between 1960 and 1961. Only 15 examples were produced, but they saw significant use on the railways in both passenger and freight service.

This model from Murphy Models is painted in the original Córas Iompair Éireann (CIE) grey scheme in which the Class 121 was originally delivered. It includes many fine detail parts and is best handled by careful modellers.
